Coaching Staff Application
To successfully carry out a football season for the 200-230 1st-6th graders who want to play football in Baraboo, it will take between 50-60 adult volunteers to assist in coaching teams. Thank you so much for your willingness to facilitate these incredible development opportunities for our communities youth!
Important Requirements
Coaches will be required to:
1) Adhere to the BYF Coaching Code of Conduct
2) Complete a background check
3) Work collaboratively with other coaches to achieve goals of BYF
4) Head Coaches Only: Need to complete USA Football training each year they are a head coach.
Levels
Athlete Levels:
- 1/2 Grade Flag (Coach QB)
- 3/4 Grade Flag
- 4th Grade Tackle
- 5th Grade Tackle
- 6th Grade Tackle
Time Commitment
Flag football season runs for approximately 6 weeks and runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Tackle football runs approximately 10 weeks. Practices are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with games falling on Saturday mornings/afternoon.
Do I need to be an expert to help out?
No matter your football background, there is a way for you to help out! You just need to come with an open mind!
